They do not show emotions, nor do they notice your emotions in the sense that a dog does. Dogs, on the other hand, have joyous personalities and loyaltly that is not to be matched. Dogs are more playful, more loving, and more kind (generally) then cats. As they say "Dogs are a mans/womans best friend".
